Since 2019, Tokyo Rights Meeting (TRM) has been put on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the lessening of the pandemic and gradual reopening of borders around the world, TRM is back to present great books from Japan to the world. In addition to the revival of this year's meeting in Tokyo, a sister event will be held the following week in the historic city of Kyoto to showcase publishers in the Kansai region.
